This is an opportunity to work in a professional, goal-driven, team-oriented environment as a PHARMACEUTICAL SENIOR SCIENTIST WITH EXPERIENCE IN PROCESS ENGINEERING in a stable company in Miami, FL JOB DUTIES: (This Position is not a Senior Chemist or Chemist III level, rather a Process Engineer Position, Laboratory Validation experience is not equivalent) *Act as a leader for projects focusing on technology transfers, process optimization and process validation. *Main technical resource for solid dosage manufacturing processes *Develop protocols and reports for manufacturing process validation activities. *Develop protocols and reports for submission/SUPAC activities. *Develop protocols and reports for characterization/evaluation activities. *Create and revise batch record documentation and standard operating procedures. *Conduct investigations into process related issues on the production floor. Prepare detailed investigative reports with root cause analysis. *Create study protocols and technical reports. Perform statistical data analysis and generate descriptive charts. *Supervise process validation activities. *Interact with Manufacturing, Quality Assurance, Laboratory Control and Maintenance/ Engineering Departments & with outside vendors and contractors. *Perform other duties as assigned or as business needs require. REQUIREMENTS: ' Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or Science related field. ' 8 years minimum Pharmaceutical Process Engineer Validation Experience, in a Solid-Dosage Pharmaceutical Manufacturing Environment. ' Understanding of departmental working relationships. ' Intermediate to advanced use in Word, Excel, Powerpoint, Access. Prefer experience with JDEdwards or Oracle. ' Ability to work with minimal direction. ' Ability to present information verbally and in writing to peers, work groups and management. ' May be required to lift/move 10 lbs.
