We have an outstanding career opportunity for a successful Pharmaceutical Sales Representative to join our expanding Women?s Health Care Sales Force. This position will be responsible for our Santa Cruz, California territory.

Position Summary:

This position offers the opportunity to work independently within our dynamic sales organization as a territory representative selling Duramed?s women?s healthcare pharmaceutical products to OBGYN doctors within the assigned territory. This is an excellent opportunity for a success driven sales professional to take the next step in their career.

Responsibilities include: Effectively present Barr?s proprietary line of Women?s Health Care products, which include oral and emergency contraceptives and hormone therapy to OB/GYN's, Primary Care and Internal Medicine physicians Call on pharmacies to create awareness and educate clients on these products and sell to these accounts Attain sales and market share goals Sole responsibility for assigned territory Provide all administrative management of sales calls data, customer objectives, expense documentation and sample accountability to the District Manager, Area Business Director and Corporate Headquarters Position Requirements include: BS or BA Degree required; Sales/Marketing degree or science related degree desirable. 1+ years pharmaceutical sales experience, Specialty or Women?s Health Care Products preferred OR 2+ years of outside/ business to business technical sales Proficient aptitude in science related field Proficient in Microsoft Office application Strong organizational and communication skills ? verbal and written Strong presentation skills Ability to communicate effectively and professionally with target customer groups, internal management team, and other members of the sales and marketing team. Proven ability to prioritize, plan and monitor multiple projects Demonstrates ability to work independently and travel extensively Commitment to Excellence - Many companies talk about it.
