JOB TITLE: Pharmaceutical Sales Representative

BASED: Des Moines IA (other locations – see below)

COMPENSATION: $50,000 salary. First year: $65k-80k, company car

QUALIFICATIONS: Our client is seeking a candidate with two or more years of outside sales experience from either business-to-business sales, pharmaceutical/medical, or packaged consumer goods. In addition to the two years of experience, the candidate must also possess a documented track record of sales success, evidence of a strong work ethic, integrity, and initiative. Candidates who have taken initiative to continue training and improvement in sales by enrolling in classes or seminars will be strongly considered. The candidate must also have a four-year college degree and minimal job changes. NON-SALES BACKGROUNDS WILL NOT BE ACCEPTED.

DUTIES: The rep will take over an existing sales territory calling on primary care physicians, psychiatrists, cardiologists, and internists. In addition to daylong fieldwork, the rep will also have evening requirements as well: reports, planning, functions, and conference calls.
