Our client is the Professional Products division of a Fortune 500 Healthcare products manufacturer and the leader in the their segment of the industry. They have asked us to locate a new sales representative to sell their full line of patient treatment products to Doctors` offices and medical products distributors in Eastern Iowa and nearby parts of Central Illinois. This is a well established territory which has a large account base with which our client has already developed strong client relationships and rapport. This territory may require 1 overnight per month.
The candidate we seek will have a 4 year degree and 3 years of sales experience, with a documented track record of success as evidenced by stack rankings, awards and commendations. Healthcare sales experience is not required, as our client will provide full product training. Therefore our client will give equal consideration to candidates with business-to-business or other direct sales experience in a competitive environment. Experience selling to and through distributors is helpful. Good critical thinking and business skills are required for this position.
The successful candidate can expect to earn $71-76K or more based on a starting salary of $50-55K plus commission which will add $21K per year at plan, but could be even higher based on personal performance. In addition, you will receive a company car, an excellent benefit package, and high visibility for advancement to sales management in a company with a long history of promotion from within.
