The results of these programs are utilized in the preparation of new and revised regulations as well as for the adoption of regional office policies Serves as a panelist on proven oil field drilling and production engineering concepts and practices of a broad nature to plan and conduct specialized work. Assignments are broad so that the work requires planning and developing a format for accomplishing each unique task so as to develop sound recommendations and conclusions Applies reservoir engineering data to the calculations of reservoir contents and recovery potentials and to the analysis and prediction of reservoir performance under a variety of production methods Performs the basic reserve computations analyses, such as volumetric and pressure data vs. production plots (P/Z) on reservoir levels and decline curves on both reservoir and field levels Utilizes the most advance statistical methods in analyzing production/recovery data, reservoir rock, and fluid parameters, influence recovery efficiency Prepares technical exhibits, reports, and testimony for congressional subcommittees, hearings, and other legal proceedings Analyzes sensitive reservoir information data submitted on Form, MMS-127m Sensitive Reservoir Information Report, to ensure that sensitive, oil-with-associated-gas-cap reservoirs are being depleted in a prudent manner. For those reservoirs where ultimate recovery is being affected by production practices, reports the results of his/her analysis to the Unit Supervisor and/or staff Engineer Evaluates conservation information documents for deepwater development projects. Reviews conceptual, preliminary, and final parts of the deepwater operation plans and development operation coordination departments Performs reservoir studies through mathematical simulation, material balance calculations, decline curve analysis, and other analytical methods to determine the optimal depletion plan, reservoir drive mechanism, reservoir boundaries, and other questions pertaining to reservoir management.Benefits:
