Description: Territory Sales Mgr - Personal Lines (Marketing)

Top P&C insurer is looking for an experienced field marketing representative with a track record of being a top performer in Northern VA. Knowledge of the territory agency plant a plus. Will consider a qualified individual who does not currently work in this territory as long as their experience is appropriate. Qualified candidates are results-oriented, knowledgable of personal lines products and able to make and maintain relationships. Recent carrier experience selling to independent agents preferably in VA is desired. Canddiates should be ready to invest their energy in the market, making appointments and driving results and like to be rewarded directly for the results that they produce.

Key Job Duties:

-Work with agents to write and promote business that is consistent with the territory business plan & the state strategy.
-Develop business plans with assigned agents.
-Prospect, meet agency appointment targets, and plan each day to maximize outcomes.
-Track producer performance, portfolio mix, and profitability trends; identify high potential and at risk agents & makes recommendations.
-Gathers competitive intelligence/stay abreast of laws and regulations.
-Provide Agent and CSR training as needed

Key Accountabilities and Deliverables (Measures):

-Production - New PIF/New business written premium
-Face to face agency sales calls within assigned territory
-Prospecting sales calls within assigned territory
-New agency appointments and agency development
-Agency management
-PL Profit- ( aggregate loss ratio of all agents within assigned territory)
-PPA and HO Profile Improvement
