Job ID: 850 Position Title: PeopleSoft HRMS Sr. Engineer Working Location: Columbus, OH (Corporate) Employment Status: Full-Time Regular Required Experience: 5-7 Years Required Education: Bachelors Degree Travel Required: 0% Job Description Job duties include evaluating new and existing computer technologies; developing, reviewing and presenting detailed program design and distributed systems specifications from customer requirements specifications; planning, scheduling and monitoring all activities related to system development; conducting detailed analyses; reporting on project progress to users; serving as knowledge expert on content, purpose and function of all assigned systems and procedures and; consulting with and providing technical support to clients on an ongoing basis as necessary. Develop and maintain systems (applications, infrastructure, databases) which support the business needs of the company. Evaluate system alternatives and presents findings and recommendations. Coordinate activities of associate systems engineers in analyzing system requirements and performing cost-benefit analysis. Essential Skills Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Business Administration or related field. Knowledge of data graphical and procedural application development tools, SQL, reuse concepts, operating systems, database systems, system design, development, analysis, testing and documentation, programming and training. Strong communication, project management, analytical and leadership skills. Knowledge of PeopleSoft Application Designer, PeopleCode, SQR Programming, Application Engine, Component Interface, Background/Exposure to Mainframe, DB2, COBOL, SQL, and JCL.
