Job ID: 805 Position Title: PeopleSoft Financials Sr. Engineer Working Location: Columbus, OH (Corporate) Employment Status: Full-Time Regular Required Experience: 5-7 Years Required Education: Bachelors Degree Travel Required: 0% Job Description To design, develop and maintain systems (applications, infrastructure, databases) which support the business needs of the company. Evaluates system alternatives and presents findings and recommendations. * Coordinate activities of associate systems engineers in analyzing system requirements and performing cost-benefit analysis. * Perform detailed systems design and development per departmental standards. * Provides ongoing support to clients of assigned systems. * Develop and monitor backup and recovery procedures for assigned systems. * Keep abreast of new developments in system design (applications, infrastructure, database). * Implement test plans, including functionality, integrity and/or stress testing. Essential Skills Must be Analytical, have strong verbal and written communication skills, and proficient in JAVA Development and XML. Knowledge of PeopleSoft Application Designer, PeopleCode, SQR Programming, Application Engine, and Component Interface. Background/Exposure to Mainframe, DB2, COBOL, SQL, JCL.
