The Alfred I. duPont Hospital for Children is accepting applications for two full-time Pediatric Psychologist positions in the Division of Behavioral Health. Both positions offer much flexibility but will include provision of consultation and liaison services to GI, eating disorders, sickle cell, and/or neurology, as well as development of liaisons with other medical specialties. The positions also include participation in our APA approved Internship and Postdoctoral Fellowship program, as well as provision of consultation, evaluation, and treatment services to patients with chronic illnesses and emotional concerns. Opportunities to participate in our Center for ADHD are also available. Research is encouraged.

The Division of Behavioral Health includes ten psychology faculty members, two psychiatrists, an APA-approved Internship program and an active Postdoctoral Fellowship program, allowing for opportunities for teaching and supervision. The Division of Behavioral Health has strong collegial ties and hospital-wide support for mental health programs. Academic appointment is encouraged and is through Thomas Jefferson University.

A qualified applicant should possess a Ph.D. or Psy.D. from an APA-approved clinical psychology program and a pre-doctoral Internship from an APA-approved site, as well as at least one-year of postdoctoral experience in a medical setting. Preference will be given to applicants with additional clinical experience with chronic illness populations. Research productivity is strongly desired. Applicant must be licensed or license-eligible in Delaware.
