Job Details:
Physical Therapist with primary responsibility to provide service to the Edmund Ervin Pediatric Center. Responsibilities include evaluations as part of the interdisciplinary developmental evaluation team; outpatient pediatric physical therapy evaluations and treatments; coordination of and provision of physical therapy services within the Pediatric Orthopedic clinic; consultation to acute care staff and provision of in-patient pediatric physical therapy services as needed; collaboration with outside referral agencies regarding needs assessment and program development; administrative duties related to provision of pediatric early intervention and rehabilitation services; Involvement in community education programs related to prevention, staff training and family education; continuing education and orientation/training activities; and complying with department procedures regarding outpatient billing, charting, scheduling, etc. Requirements: Valid State of Maine Physical Therapy license, Bachelor's degree,entry level Master's or Bachelor's degree from an accredited Physical Therapy Program with advanced education in Pediatric Physical Therapy required. Master's degree, post graduate Master's degree preferred. 3 years experience, computer literacy, word processing.
