Description:
The University of New Mexico, Division of Ophthalmology, is seeking a full-time board certified/board eligible, fellowship trained Pediatric Ophthalmologist at the level of Assistant Professor on the Flex Track to support its activities in clinical care, teaching, and research at the University of New Mexico, School of Medicine. The desired candidate will have a broad range of clinical skills in pediatric ophthalmologic diseases. This position may be subject to criminal records screening in accordance with New Mexico state law. J1 Visas are not eligible for this opportunity.
Requirements:
· Applicant must be a medical doctor and BC/BE in ophthalmology surgery
· Applicant must be eligible for licensure in New Mexico
· Applicant must have completed residency training within an accredited ophthalmology program, as well as have completed an accredited pediatric ophthalmology fellowship.
Preferred Requirements:
· Strong commitment to the teaching of residents and medical students.
