Parts Counter Salesperson

Folcomer Equipment Corporation has an exciting opportunity for an experienced parts counter salesperson in our Baltimore, MD store. The ideal candidate will have previous experience working in the parts department of a construction equipment dealership. Candidates with previous experience in the agricultural equipment or automotive parts industries will also be considered.

The parts counter salesperson will assist customers in person and on the phone. Our customers are our business, so effective customer service skills are a must! The position requires some lifting, so candidates should be able to lift at least 50 pounds. The position also requires stocking orders for customers and may require the use of a forklift and/or hand cart. The work is primarily located inside the Baltimore store, but the parts salesperson will be required to unload trucks outdoors and assist customers in loading their vehicles.

Requirements for the position include:

- Knowledge of construction equipment and the parts associated with these machines

- Strong communication skills – the parts counter salesperson will assist walk-in customers and customers who call in

- Ability to multi-task and work in a fast-paced environment

- Basic computer skills to include Word, Internet Explorer and Excel

- Customer service skills

- Ability to lift at least 50 pounds
