DESCRIPTION

Exciting growth company serving the utility and industrial market segments is seeking a project manager to manage its portfolio of North American projects and to supervise its growing team of field technicians and data analyst.  The job requires the ability to interact with client engineers and job site field leadership to insure that the projects are well organized and run smoothly.  Individual will be required to schedule and assign projects to the available field technicians and data analyst.

The position will also require above average communications skills and a strong team orientation.  Upon employment, individual will be required to understand the role of the field technicians and learn to analyze the incoming data.  All final report editing will be the responsibility of this assignment with the support of application engineering.

A background in underground power cables, field diagnostic equipment, or an understanding of signal analysis would be very helpful in this assignment.  Primary geographic scope for this assignment is North America, although some international project involvement may be required.

The technology allows the operator to pinpoint the exact location of a cable defects underground. In addition to locating existing cable defects, The IMCORP non-destructive test methodology can predict future cable performance. IMCORP diagnostic capability provides its clients a means to dramatically improve their system reliability at the lowest cost possible.
 

REQUIREMENTS

-A BSEE or equivalent is preferred

-People leadership experience necessary
-Good communications skills required to interface with clients, contractors and IMCORP associates
-Excellent report writing skills
-Excellent problem solving skills
-Knowledge in reading electrical wiring diagrams
-PC-based computer experience and full Microsoft Office capability
-U.S. citizen
-Willingness to travel up to 10% of the time
-Electric power utility and/or electronic signal analysis experience
-Fault locating, TDR (radar), medium and high voltage underground cable experience is a plus
-Applicable military experience is a plus
