We are looking for an individual with a strong background in automobile manufacturing paint operations, for our Premier Account in Chicago,IL. This account is with a major Automobile Manufacturer in the area. Our candidate Supervises Team Members in the daily activities of the shift. The incumbent determines the workflow of the shift and is responsible for implementation and ongoing maintenance of the Premier programs. The Supervisor is responsible to schedule the work and be flexible to make changes as appropriate. Incumbent must be able to manage his/her area of responsibility to an established budget.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
¨ Maintains professional relationships with Customers and effectively manages service delivery of existing business within his/her assigned area.
¨ Actively participates in the ongoing business activities of the Customer as it relates to site goals and initiatives and to his/her assigned area.
¨ Adjusts processes and resources to meet changing Customer requirements as directed by the Lead Supervisor and/or Facility Manager.
¨ Operates within the Premier System as required by the Lead Supervisor and/or Facility Manager to drive processes and resources to meet changing customer requirements for the site and his/her assigned area.
¨ Focuses on resource utilization, performance improvement, measurement and audit.
¨ Effectively communicates necessary information and status updates to the Lead Supervisor. Participates in meetings and walk-through as required by the Lead Supervisor and/or Facility Manager.
¨ Produces all required reporting for both internal and customer needs as required by the Lead Supervisor and/or Facility Manager.
¨ Ensures compliance with the Premier System, Best Practices, Safety Initiatives, applicable laws/rules in the countries, states and communities in which Premier operates.
¨ Performs other duties as assigned or as may be necessary.

The successful candidate for this position will possess the following:
Automobile Paint Experience. First Line Supervisory Experience.Experience working in a Union Environment a Plus!
Physical Requirements: The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the key actions of job.
¨ The employee is also required to talk and/or hear in an industrial setting (noise level is moderate). The employee is frequently required to stand and walk on concrete surface from 6-12 hours. The employee is occasionally required to reach with hands and arms; climb or balance; stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl.
¨ The vision requirements: close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, and depth perception and adjust focus.
