We have an immediate need for a Business Development Manager: Field Devices in our Process Automation Division. This position will be based in Houston, Texas or Twinsburg, Ohio (Suburb of Cleveland). Tasks Will Include (but are not limited to):
§ Responsible for the development and growth of Pepperl+Fuchs assigned Products sales in the triad’s geography by working closely with sales and internal organization.
§ Responsible for the development and execution of a market penetration plan to achieve targeted objectives.
§ Determine, develop and communicate new market segments/application opportunities for the Product. Actively participate in industry groups such as ISA, NACE, NFPA.
§ Working with Product Management, recommend policies and price structures to support successful growth.
§ Responsible for the competitive analysis within assigned Product group.
§ Make joint sales calls with channel partners and P+F personnel and work independently to evaluate market opportunities.
§ Coordinating closely with Product Management and the Sales Force to achieve objectives and sales targets.
§ Responsible for the implementation of sales initiatives within the assigned Products.
§ Accountable for meeting sales and budget requirements for assigned Products.
§ Responsible for coordinating marketing effects for assigned Products.
§ Assigned products are:
§ Purge and Pressurization
§ Corrosion
§ Level Measurement
§ 40% travel required including some international travel.
Experience & Skills Required:
§ 5-10 years of experience in at least one of the following Engineering Fields: Chemical, Corrosion, or Metallurgy
Experience & Skills Preferred:
§ Member of National Association of Corrosion Engineering (NACE)
Education Required:
§ Bachelor’s degree in Engineering with a focus in Chemical, Corrosion, or Metallurgy
