Generates sales of CSAA products and services through independent solicitation of new insurance policies and auto club memberships. Maintains contact with existing accounts during the year by responding to questions from insured and making contact with insured to renew existing accounts. Provides sales services to walk-in customers. Processes enrollment and renewal paperwork. Must be able and willing to work non-standard business hours as needed including, but not limited to, evenings and weekends. Approximately 50% of time is spent using a personal computer. Required
Qualifications:
Experience in a sales, customer service or public service capacity. 2-3 years of experience is preferred. Persuasive interpersonal skills. Basic reading, writing and mathematical skills needed to complete a high volume of forms correctly and calculate rate quotations accurately. Basic typing and computer skills. Strong problem-solving and analytical skills needed as well as ability to exercise discretion and good judgment. Able to work independently. Must have command of the English language and must be able to express oneself effectively. Bachelor's degree preferred. High school diploma required. Fire and Casualty Insurance License preferred. Must have full time access to the use of a personal vehicle and have a valid driver's license and a good driving record.
Must have a current Insurance License in the State of Utah, or transferable. Previous marketing and sales experience with proven successful results preferred.
