2-Orange county
JOB DESCRIPTION SUMMARY:
The Outside Sales Territory Manager is an outside sales position. Candidate will work from their home office in the assigned territory. The territory manager is required to cold call for new accounts, respond to advertising leads, as well as grow and manage the existing book of business.
This professional, top-performer must be an organized, self-starter who is able to work independently.
Ideal candidate for position: Will be a health-minded individual with a positive attitude and a “team spirit” approach. Experience in food and beverage outside sales is a plus. Must be able to handle a fast paced environment and be capable of multi-tasking, prioritizing tasks, and closing sales in a timely manner. This is a consultative selling process so if you like to help people succeed, (our customers), then you will love this position.
Our current customer base consists of coffee houses, large and small restaurants, fitness clubs, business and industry and more. This is a fun industry with constant growth and constant change!

Qualification Requirements:
4 to 7 years minimum outside sales experience preferably in the beverage or food industry calling on local coffee shops, restaurants and other establishments. (NOT account management) Experience in opening new accounts and/or switching customers from competitors productsEffective demonstration of sales process / methodologyWell developed presentation skillsAptitude to identify decision maker(s) and ascertain buying criteriaAbility to create a need for change and strong closing skillsStrong time management & territory development skillsExcellent writing, listening & communication skillsCandidate must possess prior experience in up-selling and cross selling to existing customer baseCandidate must be computer proficient, with good knowledge of word, excel etc with use of Liaison CRM a plus Must have the vision to see where potential business opportunities lie or are developing = catch the future trendsCandidates must possess a “can do” attitude Candidates must live in or near the territory they will be covering

Travel throughout assigned territory to call on prospective and regular customers to solicit ordersDisplay or demonstrate product, using samples or catalog, and emphasize salable features Quote prices and credit terms and prepare sales contracts for ordersWork with inside company representatives to keep account activities and literature up to dateEnter new customer data and other data for current customers into laptopDevelop and maintain relationships with purchasing contactsInvestigate and resolve customer problems to facilitate the saleYou must currently live in Southern California, no relocation is available.Individuals with experience selling copiers, coffee services, office supplies, yellow page advertising, or similar “services” are strongly encouraged to applyALL INQUIRIES ARE HELD STRICTLY CONFIDENTIAL
Compensation: Salary and commission averages between 45k to 70k,or more!!. Your income is only limited by yourself. It is a simple formula, the more you sell, the more you make.
