Help Safety-Kleen Systems, Inc. be a leader in the industry by acting as the Outside Sales Representative in Missouri City (Houston), TX. This should be a motivated person who possesses consultative selling ability and who is skilled at building long-term business relationships within the assigned sales territory.
Responsibilities
· Develop territory through prospecting, cold calling and providing excellent customer service.
· Assess current/potential business in existing accounts and create strategy to grow business
· Analyze customers needs and design sales, customer service and account management processes to acquire and retain accounts
· Prepare and deliver customer quotes and identify new solutions for customers
· Provide technical and sales assistance to customers
· Serve as interface between customers and company by ensuring that customer needs are met and by handling customer complaints
· Monitor and track sales plan to ensure sales quota is met; prepare regular status reports
· Keep abreast of products, market conditions and competitive activities
Requirements
· Bachelor’s degree in Business Management or Administration or equivalent period in the military preferred
· Experience in direct business to business sales (at least 3-5 years) both growing current customer relationships and generating new customer relationships
· Prefer experience in industrial/automotive products or environmental service and/or experienced with route-based sales
· Experience with territory and account management with sophisticated customers and complex buying cycles
· Consistent or repeated recognition for outstanding sales performance (awards, prizes)
· Familiar with environmental, health and safety compliance
· Basic computer skills proficiency
