Outside Sales Representative:
Our client, a leading retailer of specialty apparel is currently seeking a talented and aggressive Sales Representative for an immediately available field opportunity with a focus on generating sales leads and targeting new clientele within the state of New Hampshire.
The successful candidate will be a highly motivated, team oriented individual with a proven track record and strong work ethic. They will have solid sales experience in retail/wholesale clothing and accessories, a strong book of business and be responsible for maintaining and developing new and existing customer base through savvy sales experience, product knowledge and strong customer service. They will also have the responsibility to gain a larger market presence in their respective territory.
Qualifications
Bachelor degree in either, Business Management or Marketing and knowledge of MS Office, Power Point, Internet Explorer, ACT,CRM and POS systems helpful.You have successfully sold products with a critical service component to individual decision makers and management of municipalities and institutions in a short sales-cycle and competitive marketplace. Familiar with a variety of the field concepts, practices, and procedures. Relies on extensive experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goalsDesire to work in entrepreneurial, small-company environment8-12 years experience in a retail environment
Required Skills
Effective at opening new accounts; have excellent qualifying skills and create excellent long-term account relationships and ensures growth of existing accounts Solid experience and ability to establish routines and practices; compose effective and accurate correspondence The high level of knowledge, technical expertise of products, a pleasant personality and appearance, the ability to communicate well with people, and problem-solving skills are highly valued. Develops strategies to improve customer service, drive sales, and increase profitability. Ensures customer needs are met, complaints are resolved, and service is quick and efficient. Strong computer skills Ability to implement strategies to improve customer service, drive store sales, and increase profitability. Maintains store appearance and product presentation to company standards. Provides support to other sales associates during peak periods or when scheduling conflicts arise.The position is based out of the candidates’ home office and will report to HQ as required.
Minimal weekend and/or holiday work may be required from time to time.
