WE ARE LOOKING FOR A COMMISSION MOTIVATED OUTSIDE SALES PROFESSIONAL IN THE TYLER/LONGVIEW AND EASTERN PORTION OF TEXAS

Preferred Warranties, Inc. (PWI) was founded in 1992 to provide mechanical failure service contracts (warranties) for both new and used cars, trucks, motorcycles and all terrain vehicles (ATVs) through a network of independent and franchised dealers. With a sales force of approximately 25 consultants, PWI currently operates in 15 states: Alabama; Delaware; Indiana; Kentucky; Maryland; Michigan; New Jersey; North Carolina; Ohio; Pennsylvania; South Carolina; Tennessee; Texas; Virginia; and West Virginia. PWI provides service contracts to dealers with excellent reputations for selling quality vehicles. PWI sales consultants become successful by making automobile dealers more profitable and by protecting vehicle purchasers’ investment.
We are currently searching for an experienced professional full time Outside Sales Consultant in the Tyler/Longview and Eastern portion of Texas Sales Area. The ideal candidate will be an energetic, self-motivated, independent, and organized person who is able to work effectively with home-office team members. We are looking for a dedicated and entrepreneurial employee who wants to work for a company that puts a high value on their sales force and that provides strong marketing, customer service, training and management support. Candidates should have a proven track record of success in previous sales positions and should be looking to improve upon past successes. Employees should be interested in performing job functions as though they were running their own business.
SALES TERRITORY:
The East Texas territory includes Tyler, Longview, Lufkin, Nacogdoches, up to Texarkana. Extensive daily travel is required, and some overnight travel may be needed. Overnight travel to a regional meeting is required once a month.
COMPENSATION:

RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Visit all existing active accounts on a cycle that is designed at the beginning of each month
• Actively prospect new dealers using face-to-face cold calls and based upon referrals
• Learn and follow company specific sales training guidelines
• Learn about basic automobile mechanics and repairs
• Maintain open communications with your customer service representative, the marketing department, and the claims department
• Completion of sales reports, including: Cycle Plans; Sales Projections; Daily Call Reports; Expense Reports; and Dealer Claims Reports
EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:
Outside sales experience in any industry is preferred, however, any candidate that is energetic, friendly, hard working, and self-motivated with a desire to help auto dealers increase profits and to help car buyers protect their investment will be considered. Candidates without extensive outside sales experience should include a cover letter that explains why they are now interested in this sales job. Candidates should be able to demonstrate excellence in previous positions that required independent thinking and that rewarded above average performance.
