Outside Plant Supervisor

Job Description:

Responsible for maintaining a segment of the fiber optic Outside Plant Network, including but not limited to: emergency maintenance and restoration, network maintenance, network relocation, new construction, and fiber testing and delivery through managing contract resources and/or internal resources.

Review construction documents and determine impact to the fiber optic plant and develop solutions to resolve impacts.

Implement preventive maintenance procedures and take corrective measures as discovered

Respond to network outages and organize OSP resources to implement restorations.

Take the lead on reviewing project requirements, develop solution, and implement the project.

Responsible for status updates, cost estimates and review of actual costs on projects

Qualifications:

Bachelor Degree with experience or 8 years directly related experience

Average to above average basic computer skills

Knowledge of fiber optic construction, maintenance and repair

Must be able to lift 50 lbs

Must be able to interpret contract documents and construction plans and develop solutions to associated problems.
