CPM California Pellet Mill is looking for an Order Processing Specialist for its capital equipment manufacturing facility in Merrimack, New Hampshire.  This is an opportunity to join a highly successful business that is looking for someone with strong technical aptitude, strong organizational skills, and outstanding people skills. 

 

In this position you will be responsible for the processing of New Equipment orders through a Configurator in company ERP system to provide accurate bills of material for manufacturing and documentation for customer manuals.   

 

RESPONSIBILITES

1.        Maintain Product Configurator by working with Engineering, Sales and Manufacturing.

2.        Acknowledge customer orders and provide drawings for approval.

3.        Contact customers for missing specifications.

4.        Determine when new designs are required for orders and provide information needed to Design Engineers.

5.        Track design requirements to assure timely release to manufacturing by maintaining a running log of released, non-released and missing specifications in the company ERP system. 

6.        Follow up with customer for drawing approvals and supply certified drawings after approval.

7.        Maintain and organize digital equipment files to maintain an accurate install base.

8.        Work with OEMs of auxiliary equipment to provide information for purchasing, approval drawings and certified drawings.

9.        Comply with CPM safety policy.

 

 

DESIRED SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS

1.        Experience with heavy mechanical process equipment manufacturing in an ERP environment.

2.        Microsoft Office 2003 Excel, Word and Access.

3.        AutoCad/Inventor knowledge a plus, no drafting required. 

4.        Ability to read mechanical blueprints a must.

5.        Adobe Acrobat Professional 7.0.

6.        Experience with and full understanding of ERP and MRP system.  Macola Progression a plus.

7.        Experience with engineering documentation discipline.

8.        Mechanical knowledge and ability a must.

9.        Excellent customer service skills.

10.    Attentive to details.

11.    Technical or Engineering degree preferred.
