Urgent need for an expert Oracle DBA to work on mission critical Oracle 10g databases in Global Commodities Trading Firm located in Connecticut. You will work along side Database Managers to implement Disaster Recovery plans, database sizing, and implement Oracle 10g RAC and Data Guard. Candidates for this position must have excellent communication skills to be able to communicate with team members, senior management, and business users. This is a chance to join an expanding team and have a direct impact on crucial database environments. You will be responsible for performance tuning, optimization, back up and recovery, and act as a liaison for the database teams and other technology teams.
