CITY: Danbury STATE: Connecticut COUNTRY: USA Essential Functions (Responsibilities): Trade Services (TS) is seeking a qualified individual to help drive revenue growth and process improvements across a network of 40+ GE business units. Primary focus is on Account Payables (AP) processes to drive reduced invoice approval cycle time allowing TS to maximize early pay discounts from its suppliers. The Annual AP payment volume for these business units exceeds $40B globally and is spread across 100,000+ suppliers. Trade Services maximizes revenue by improving Buy To Pay processes and product offerings for the GE businesses and participating suppliers. Essential Responsibilities of the position include: *Create, implement and drive successful Discount Lost strategies across assigned clients. *Utilizing Six Sigma, Workout and ACFC tools, drive Account Payables (AP) Best Practices across assigned clients. The principal performance metric is "Discount Lost " which measures the lost revenue opportunity resulting from a delay in the invoice approval process. Secondary emphasis is reducing processing cycle times to maximize the discount available based on supplier terms. Both critical performance metrics increase overall program profitability. *Optimize strategies through collaboration with multiple, cross-functional stakeholders including Client Finance, Sourcing, IT and AP leaders. This will include but not be limited to on-site work-out sessions, monthly performance reviews with key stakeholders and robust reporting packages to track improvement initiatives. *Work with Process Excellence managers (Process owners) on improvements. *Institute daily process metrics/controls around completeness and accuracy of all operations-related activities. *Build rigor around document controls in the office, using CFS approved infrastructure. *Work on process efficiency/productivity projects. Qualifications/Requirements: *YOU MUST BE ABLE TO SATISFY THE REQUIREMENTS OF SECTION 19 OF THE FEDERAL DEPOSIT INSURANCE ACT. *Bachelor's Degree with 5+ years related experience, including 2 years in Finance or Operations environment (or High School diploma/GED and additional 7 years of related experience). Experience in Commercial Lending, Finance or Operations. *2 years experience with teams, process ownership or projects in a Commercial Loan Operations or Banking environment. *Proven analytical skills. Must be able to drive an analysis from data collection to root cause to formal execution on improvement initiatives. *Ability and flexibility to manage multiple responsibilities simultaneously. *Creativity. Ideal candidate will not only effectively deliver on day-to-day responsibilities but also actively drive Simplification efforts to enhance value.
