Carrying out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization’s policies and procedures. These include interviewing and training both exempt and nonexempt employees; having full accountability for setting and meeting operational goals; strategic planning and forecasting; assigning and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; resolving problems; and staffing; as well as the development of the area managers and standard operating procedures.
This position requires a candidate with the proven ability to drive process improvements and the ability to keep pace with our explosive growth while motivating others to meet the challenges of an extremely deadline-driven environment. The ideal candidate will have a strong commitment to employee development, an understanding of Lean and Six Sigma, and a keen interest in and familiarity with WMS systems, as well as an exceptional level of dedication, motivation, and intelligence. Strong oral and written communication skills, as well as a strong technical and analytical aptitude, are requirements. A bachelor’s degree in engineering, operation, or a related field, and/or 3-5 years of work experience in a manufacturing, production or distribution environment are required.
