Sodexo is seeking an Operations Manager to oversee the food service operations for the Assisted Living (32 Beds) and Skilled Care (134 Beds) at a CCRC located in Quincy, Pennsylvania. The ideal candidate will have experience overseeing catering events, be a team player, have strong communication, leadership and supervisory skills. Must be able to write detailed reports to the administrator. Must be able to anaylize/manage the business needs and demands, report on them with solutions/recommendations. Must lead by example and train the team on innovative trends/proceedures. Will order food/beverage/additional products for the entire campus, dealing within the Dining Service Department. Will be expected to manage the labor according to budgets and projections. Should have a proven track record how to pass surveys and knowledge of REG's within Health Care/CCRC facilities. Will act as the GM in his/her absence. Geri Menu experience preferred. CDM encouraged but not necessary. Position Summary: Assumes GM's responsibilities and authority in his/her absence in complex multi-functional accounts. Maintains cash control and payroll records. Responsible for financial/HR functions. Maintains customer satisfaction and good public relations. Manages through managers. Basic Education Requirement: Associate's Degree Basic Management/Supervisory Experience Required: 2 years of lead/supervisory/management experience Basic Functional Experience Required: 2 years work experience in food or culinary services including restaurants, fast food, vending, catering services, institutional services, mall food courts, etc. You may substitute 1 additional year of experience for each year of education below the basic requirement above as long as you possess a high-school diploma or GED.
