Job Description: Operations Architect - Identity and Management Security Accountable for the design and implementation of the IS Operations strategic architecture. Works with senior level management to establish strategic computing direction with emphasis on improving efficiency, effectiveness, and stability of the IS Operations computing environment. Will provides strategic consulting to senior management and strategic direction to all levels of the organization and helps implement architectures and practices throughout the computing environment. Emphasis will be on the following accountabilities related to current strategic and infrastructure capital projects: Technical lead in the following security disciplines: 1. Identity Management Services – Maintain processes that maintain proper knowledge users authentication methods, their access to various applications/systems, and their status. 2. Access Management Services – Provide the ability to request, track and remove access for the users of our systems and applications within the agreed upon Service Level Agreements (SLA). 3. Customer Integration - Assist in the key functionality for creating and keeping customers through functions such as Federated Identity, Web Access Management (Portals), and Secure File Transfer. 4. Control Reviews - Provide Blue Cross with a means of reviewing and maintaining their access to disparate applications and systems. 5. Project Consultation - Provide assistance with IT applications and systems; how to implement identity and access controls best for their specific implementation. General accountabilities: 1. Plans and manages the operational aspects of the design, development, and testing of application and systems engineering prototypes in conjunction with other information systems groups. 2. Provides advocacy and planning functions to ensure ongoing support for new technologies as they transition into production status and quality. 3. Develops and implements capacity management processes, automated where possible, to effectively and efficiently manage existing system capacity. 4. Continuously supplements knowledge of present software and hardware environment with knowledge of emerging operating systems, tools, and applications. Will share this knowledge base with co-workers through direct interaction, and internal/external publications. 5. Analyzes existing processes within Operations and will develop/implement improvements which add stability, lower costs, and improve efficiency within the development and production environments. Required Qualifications: 1. Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Business Administration, or related topic, and 7 years of related experience in an identity and management security role with at least 1 year in a security technical lead role. Identity and Access Management experience in user provisioning, web access management, and/or role-based access control deployment required. If no degree, then 11 years of experience. 2. Requires advanced technical knowledge of various security software and hardware environments, preferably in a distributed or web processing environment. 3. Expertise in one of the following technologies: ITIM, TAM, DataPower, or TFIM. 4. Experience with Identity and Access management methodologies. CISSP preferred 4. Human relation skills to effectively interact with peers, subordinates, internal and external customers and vendors. Able to motivate individuals and teams. Advanced presentation skills and oral and written communication skills. Advanced analytical skills related to cost / benefit analysis of large dollar hardware and software implementations. Demonstrated sound decision making and judgment skills. |
