Reporting to the business process, the Operational Steward's position is responsible for the qualification, data analysis, data accuracy and change control for Master Data. Additions and/or modifications impact functionality and data accuracy for Merck., including but not limited to all objects, views and fields within the function. Working independently, the incumbent utilizes SAP knowledge, business processes knowledge and SOP's to correctly maintain master data and collaborate with other processes. Communicates and interacts with other Operational and Information Stewards to resolve issues regarding master data. Responsible for qualification and classification of data ensuring that all information is accurate and complete, performing on-going maintenance of records and communications and delivery of Merck policies. In addition, offers recommendation to enhance workflow and increase efficiency.
Required:A minimum of two (2) years relevant work experience. Knowledge of SAP required.
Desired:Broad understanding and knowledge of applicable business processes. Solid oral and written communication and interpersonal skills. Teamwork and collaborative focus. Ability to function in a high volume setting with tight deadlines. Attention to details and accuracy focus.
Education Requirement:Bachelor's Degree required, concentration in a related business concentration (Supply Chain, Project Management, Logistics Planning, Procurement, Finance, Human Resources, Business Planning or equivalent a plus.
