A Multi-billion $ hedge fund in Connecticut is looking for exceptional candidates to join their business as an architect. The ideal candidate will have an exceptional academic background and the desire to work in a challenging yet academic environment. Financial experience is a plus but is not required. You will be responsible for gaining requirements from the research team to understand their requirements and design appropriate strategic solutions. All applicants should have excellent problem solving abilities, experience in a leadership role as well as a strong technical background in design and development. All candidates should have expert level development skills in any object oriented programming language (C++, C#, Java) and experience building large scale mission critical systems from scratch, and experience acting as an industry expert on technology best practices.
