Be the first to be part of the new release of Journal Interactive Online Sales TEAM by generating sales for retail and business to business advertisers and agencies. Be able to effectively present and implement ideas to advertisers and agencies on how they can grow their business using online media offered by Journal Interactive, the LARGEST publishing website in Wisconsin! Achieve assigned revenue and market share goals. Be a rainmaker - develop and deliver awesome presentations. Be a sustaining resource - build and maintain an account base with strong relationships. Be able and willing to make in-person outside sales calls with managers that have contacts in Wisconsin and beyond!

The ideal candidate has a track record of overachieve in online traditional media sales. We're looking for an energetic self-starter with a consultative sales approach who is pro-active in driving revenue and increasing a client base. Candidate must be results driven, have strong analytical skills and be committed to creating new business opportunities.

This media sale professional is expected to understand the overall business objectives of Journal Communications network of sites and the sales organization, then articulate our value proposition to the online ad community.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Achieve established revenue and market share goals. Proactively prospect, qualify, grow and maintain an account list of national/regional advertisers. Present the value of online audiences to interactive clients and agencies. Successfully obtain online marketing budgets to be spent across the Journal Interactive network of sites. Engage and strategies with Journal Interactive leaders to find the best marketing opportunities for needs of clients and agencies in the area of multi-platform sales.

Minimum Skills and Experience required:
Bachelors Degree or equivalent sales experience, three years of interactive account management and/or online sales. Strong knowledge of local, regional and national client and agency base. Excellent presentation skills.
