Schawk is a NYSE traded company, headquartered in Des Plaines, IL, with offices worldwide. We are now interviewing for an On-Site Production Coordinator for offices located in Carmel, Indiana.
The Onsite Coordinator will be responsible for coordinating packaging development activities between Client’s Brand Management, Marketing and Design departments; Client product manufacturers and printers; and Schawk’s production art, prepress and print quality teams. The position will require strong communication and organizational skills, knowledge of the various phases of packaging production, (creative design, production art, prepress and printing) and the ability to simultaneously manage multiple projects with conflicting deadlines. The Onsite Coordinator will play a key, proactive role in leading packaging development initiatives within the client organization. Collaboration across multiple departments will be necessary as well as the ability to influence the various contributors (internal and external) to ensure positive quality, cost and timeline results.
Responsibilities:
Client’s main contact with the agency/company on a day-to-day basis may have multiple smaller account or one large account. Manages client projects and relationships by attending client meetings and communicating the client’s direction, strategies, and goals to assigned creative and production representatives. Develops and manages the project’s P&L by creating estimates/price guidelines, monitoring budgets and invoicing projects. Reviews all creative concepts prior to presentation and ensure that the defined strategy is met. Takes an active role in every step of the project. Ensures client satisfaction of final product. Works independently toward goals and objectives seeks additional review on unusual assignments. Works with Management to establish Departmental Standard Operating Procedures. Solves complex problems conducts analyses of the costs and benefits of modifying procedures increase effectiveness of a department. Develops cross-work group partnerships and initiates new and productive internal and external alliances. Builds consensus, encouraged two-way feedback, and acknowledge contributions of others. Train entry-level employees on multiple functional areas within a discipline.
Requirements:
Incumbents typically have a Bachelor’s Degree in Advertising, Marketing, Business or related degree preferred or equivalent combination of experience and education. Incumbents typically have 8+ years of related work experience. Most highly skilled user of department specific software and tools viewed as the “go to” person for answering complex questions. Applies advanced knowledge of creative advertising development and related terminology, production, and electronic processes.
