Provide administrative support in program field office and assist Rural & Agricultural Vocational Rehabilitation (RAVR) Counselor in providing expedited consumer driven services to rural and farm family members with disabilities. Provide caseload management support, perform program functions and provide services to clients. High School diploma, one to three years related experience and working knowledge of software applications used to support area operations including knowledge of word processing, Windows, Excel, and Internet applications required, or an equivalent combination. Experience in rehabilitation services and human service agency or public service setting and background in or awareness of agriculture and rural lifestyles required. Effective interpersonal, negotiation, and communication skills required. Commitment to diversity and inclusion required. Working knowledge of federal and state rules, regulations, policies and procedures and knowledge of state and local resourcesdesirable. Database experience and knowledge of and skills in counseling practices and basic medical terminology desirable.
