The Occidental a historic restaurant is hiring for an Office Manager.
We are seeking highly a motivated individual who possesses a strong attention to detail, advanced word processing and database management skills with an accounting background. A minimum of 3 years office experience is required. Primary duties include but are not limited to:
· Preparing various daily, weekly and monthly sales analysis reports for the Owner, Accounting Department and Executive chef.
· Verifying the accuracy of Front of the House Mangers and Private Dinging Directors daily paperwork.
· Verifying the accuracy of tip declarations.
· Recording maintaining and balancing accounts receivable.
· Reconciling register banks
· Assisting in patrons with credit card issues and preparing gift certificates
· Monitoring office supplies and placing orders as needed
· Assisting the Accounting Department, Owner and Executive Chef with any issues or special projects that may arise.
· Coding and organizing accounts payable to be sent to the Accounting Department.
· Recording accounts payable in QuickBooks and maintaining files.
· Preparing payroll to be outsourced.
