We are Murphy-Hoffman Company (MHC), North America’s largest Kenworth truck dealership and leasing group.  As MHC continues to grow, we have an opening for an Office Manager at our Kansas City, Missouri Corporate Leasing headquarters.  Why should you consider this career opportunity?  How about the opportunity to:

 

·     Be familiar with all accounting policies, procedures and standards of the company

·     Provide direction, support and training for all LMW office managers/coordinators in the performance of their duties

·     Travel to various LMW branch locations to train and audit for compliance with established policies and procedures

·     Discuss branch needs with the branch manager and supervisor; provide written follow-up on all items discussed

·     Review month end reports and financial results.  Identify problems, develop possible solutions and communicate them to supervisor

·     Review LMW accounts receivable on a regular basis.  Monitor the collection efforts on past due accounts.  Develop plans of action for accounts, which pose possible collection losses

·     Produce various weekly and monthly analytical reports as requested. Monitor LMW general ledger and billing accuracy.

 

 

Ideal candidate would possess:

 

·     College degree in business/accounting or comparable experience

·     Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel

·     Requires excellent written and verbal communication skills

·     Requires basic computer skills
