Job Title – Office Manager/Bookkeeper – Investment Firm

Description:

 

Private Investment Company is currently seeking a talented Office Manager with accounting/bookkeeping, real estate and stocks and bonds experience for a small firm.  The position provides support to two executives in a family owned investment firm business and charitable foundation.  You will be performing all functions expected of a superior Office Manager and Bookkeeper. 

 

Position Summary:

Administrative support for day-to-day activities including screening calls, scheduling and coordination of meetings, calendar maintenance, preparation of correspondence, routine filing and maintenance of filing system Daily cash management including cash reconciliation Reconciliation of monthly oil & gas reports, real estate and brokerage statement Preparation of monthly financial statements Preparation of analytical financial reports Miscellaneous special projects as required

 

Position Requirements:

5-10 years related work experience Must have excellent oral and written communication skills with the ability to generate correspondence Bookkeeping with a solid understanding of general ledger Excellent math skills; 10-key by touch Typing Filing Advanced computer skills including Excel, Word, Outlook Ability to work effectively in a small team environment with limited supervision Ability to manage multiple tasks and responsibilities Highly organized and detail oriented with a “can do” attitude
