Complex Care Hospital of Idaho is located at 2131 S. Bonito Way in Meridian . We have 60 licensed beds, are accredited by the Joint Commission, and are Medicare certified.

We specialize in the treatment of medically complex patients who require extended hospitalization, typically for more than 25 days. We are passionate about giving our patients the best chance at recovery from acute injury or illness by providing early and aggressive intervention in a critical care setting.

General Summary:  The Occupational Therapist (OT) plans and conducts the occupational therapy activities to improve patient function and prevent disability following disease or injury.  Helps patients reach maximum performance within the limits of his/her capabilities.  The OT is active in department activities, transdisciplinary team activities, and LifeCare activities to ensure individualized, patient-centered health care for all patient populations admitted to LifeCare Hospital.

Patient Population:  Delivers direct patient care appropriate to the patients served.  The ages of the patients served are adult (18-65 years of age) and geriatric (65 and older).

Supervision:  Indirectly directs the activities of the COTA and Rehabilitation Technician.

Education:  Bachelor’s degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited school 

       Licensure/Certification: 

1.   Current license as an Occupational Therapist in state where currently practicing

2.   Current BLS certification required
