NY Ops-Human Resources Consultant This rPHR certified role is responsible for delivering a broad range of Human Resources and employee relations services as the first point of contact for employees and managers. Key Functions: * Assists HR Director in HR program design, implementation and communication * Performance Management * Management Coaching * Key role in compensation review, strategy and process implementation * Member Satisfaction, Morale and Wellness * Employee Relations Support, advice and counsel Description of Responsibilities: . • Works closely with other components of HR to manage risk and resolve performance and workplace issues – communicates issues to HR Director for resolution. • Monitor and ensure implementation, communication, and compliance of HR programs, processes and policies across the Business Unit. Includes performing HR policy research, adapting to changing business environments, and process developments. • Assist in the compensation program administration, communication and process to ensure consistency and timeliness. • Advising managers on the key ways of rewarding individuals, such as salary administration, bonus/variable pay, benefits (communication), and other non-financial rewards • Advising management and assisting the deployment of performance management including performance improvement plans; identifying and managing performance issues and risks; Performance Management; Assist Career Managers Annual Expectation/Goal Setting, providing Consistent and Timely Feedback; Management Coaching • Provides advice on employee relations matters including performance termination matters as needed and ensure communication with leadership and Legal Counsel as appropriate. • Propose and develop modification of existing policies based on business, personnel, environment and economic realities. • Supports training and career development priorities and initiatives across the Business Unit; to include, building career development roadmap and job development profiles. •Provides oversight to all immigration matters for the BU and advises members on matters. Administer leave programs within the Business unit and ensures consistent application of process and policies. Successful candidates will offer 7+ years of progressive HR experience with strong consulting skills and track record of influencing and directing HR functions within a fast paced, professional services environment.
