The Center, one of the first community health centers in the United States launched in 1968, is still one of the largest and most prominent. The 69,000 square-foot facility houses a staff of 300 and offers a full range of services including clinical, preventive, behavorial and restorative health services

Description

Bachelor's degree in Food and Nutrition or Dietetics from an accredited college and completion of an approved internship program by the American Dietetics Association. Registered Dietitian (or, a Master's degree and be eligible for RD). Two (2) years experience in the field of food, nutrition and/or dietetics (Master's degree may be substituted for one year of work).
Must be knowledgeable in the areas of therapeutic and normal nutrition as it relates to pregnancy, lactation and infant/child nutrition.
Knowledge of state and local Women, Infants and Children program policies and procedures. Knowledgeable of ethnic food preferences of different cultures. Supervisory experience highly desirable.
Valid California driver's license and proof of auto liability insurance.
