Nursing Faculty Employment Opportunities

Remington College– Shreveport Campus invites applications for full-time nursing faculty members for our new LPN program. We are particularly interested in hiring faculty members who can assist in the development, implementation and evaluation of this exciting program offered on our Shreveport Campus.

We are also seeking adjunct clinical instructors, who will be responsible for clinical instruction in affiliated hospitals, assisted living facilities and other health care agencies in the metropolitan Shreveport region.

Qualifications – Faculty Members:

A Bachelor of Science in Nursing degree is required; a graduate degree in nursing is preferred. A minimum of four years of nursing experience is required, with at least one of these years as a medical-surgical hospital staff nurse providing direct patient care. Candidates must be licensed as an RN in Louisiana or eligible for licensure.

All applicants must be able to use instructional technology, possess excellent written and oral communication skills, have effective management skills and be able to work a flexible schedule that occasionally may include evenings or weekends.
