My client is a Regional Medical Center located in North Eastern South Dakota providing comprehensive medical coverage to the surrounding 10 counties. The facility offers several "regional level" services that are not available elsewhere including a cardiovascular cath lab, 24-hour physician staffed emergency room, Level-II Nursery, inpatient rehab center, and 24-hour emergency flight helicopter service.

 

Job Description

My client is currently looking for an Inpatient Nurse Manager/Nursing Coordinator which would serve as a clinical resource, clinical expert and consultant to nursing personnel on the unit in patient planning and the overall management of quality patient care.  The manager/coordinator will demonstrate effective leadership skills and support the nursing department's philosophy, objectives, and vision for empowered nursing practice as well as assist in short and long range planning for the nursing unit and department. My client is offering an aggressive compensation and benefits package, and the possibility for a sign on bonus and relocation assistance for the right client.

 

Job Qualifications

A qualified individual will have a Bachelors Degree (Masters Preferred) in Nursing, and 2-3 years of management experience.
