Our client is a 600 bed, non-profit, acute care, magnet hospital.   They are seeking a Nurse Manager to manage the operational, personnel and financial activities of the Emergency Department.

Requirements:

-          Currently licensed as a Registered Nurse with the ability to gain D.C. licensure

-          BSN, Masters degree preferred

-          2+ years progressive supervisory/management experience in an acute care facility

-          2+ years Emergency Department experience

-          Experience in a University Teaching Hospital preferred

-          Excellent interpersonal communication skills

-          Expert knowledge of nursing principles, practices and skills
