POSITION
SUMMARY:
The University of New Mexico Cancer Center is a statewide provider of cancer services and is influential in the cancer care field throughout the State of New Mexico. We are currently recruiting for a Nurse Manager/Critical Care position for our Clinical Trials Division.
Manages and coordinates the integrated research nursing operations of an inpatient/outpatient clinic. Oversees the supervision of patient care related to oncology patients enrolled on clinical trials provided by a diverse team of nurse clinical trial coordinators, clinical trial coordinators and data coordinators. Oversees administration, budget management, and operational planning, ensuring adherence to unit protocols, university policies and procedures, Federal and State legislative and regulatory requirements, and accepted clinical nursing standards and good clinical practices.

MINIMUM
QUALIFICATIONS:
Bachelor's degree in Nursing or directly related field/discipline; at least 6 years of directly related experience.
OR
Master's degree in Nursing or directly related field/discipline; at least 4 years of directly related experience.
State of New Mexico Licensed Registered Nurse or licensure pending as documented by temporary licensure OR current RN licensure from a state participating in the "multistate privilege to practice" compact with New Mexico.
