We currently have the following opportunity:  Nuclear Ops Plant Instructor JOB SUMMARY The Nuclear Plant Instructor position will be responsible for classroom instruction using various computer related media, developing training materials, and processing / maintaining training records for assigned area of responsibility. JOB DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES The successful candidate will be responsible for:developing / reviewing training materials to be used in the training programsconducting training sessions to ensure plant staff is trained, retrained and qualified as requiredassist in determining training program effectivenessmaintaining plant training records and qualification programs for plant employeesconducting needs, job and task analysisconducting quality reviews, research and evaluation as requested by the training supervisorensuring training programs reinforce standards and expectationsassist in outages by fulfilling temporary assignment in the plant during outagesJOB REQUIREMENTS Education Requirements:High School graduate or equivalentUS NRC senior reactor operator license or reactor operator license desiredPreviously licensed SRO or RO at a PWR plant or PWR certification desiredPrior Navy Nuclear Power experience desired for non commercial experienceExperience Requirements:A total of five (5) years of power plant experience of which one (1) year is nuclear power plant experience.A maximum of two (2) years experience may be fulfilled by academic or related technical training on a one-for-one basis.Previous instructor experience desiredKnowledge, Skills & Abilities:Detailed knowledge of plant procedures and regulations in assigned areaDetailed knowledge of plant systems and processesWorking knowledge of computer software programs supporting assigned areaBehavioral Attributes:Prioritizes work of self and others to ensure schedules are metIncorporates vendors/contractors and other employees into decision-making when necessary, acting in a lead role to ensure quality decisions are madeConsiders financial implications of decisions and actions to ensure cost are controlledCommunicates both in writing and orallyHolds self accountable for superior resultsRespects the dignity of every individualAssumes personal responsibility for individual and corporate success
