Responsibilities:

Sample plant systems Sample diesel fuel Comply with the Chemical Hygiene Plan Provide corrosion control Comply with laboratory quality control requirements Perform instrument calibration and operation Respond to off normal conditions Input chemistry data into data management system Maintain chemistry within established limits and below action levels Perform data review Communicate to Chemistry Management in a timely manner any issue affecting plant chemistry Comply with the Chemical Control Program Respond to out of specification chemistry Understand adverse chemistry effects on equipment performance Serve as a member of the Emergency Response Organization

 Required Qualifications:

 

Chemistry Lab Technician 2

2 years commercial nuclear experience Technical understanding of nuclear generation principles and operations Proficiency with current computer business applications BS degree in Chemistry or related technical program or approved Apprentice Program

 Chemistry Lab Technician 1

BS degree in Chemistry or related technical program or approved Apprentice Program

Desired Qualifications:

BS degree in Chemistry or a related technical degree or Naval Nuclear Power School and Engineering Laboratory Technician School.
