Qualifications
Demonstrate excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
Demonstrate outstanding customer service and achieve both customer satisfaction and retention
Demonstrate a business owner mentality and an entrepreneurial management style
Review profit and loss branch performance and determine areas of opportunity and recommendations for improvement
Analyze and manage regional sales to ensure positive growth trends
Create, implement and evaluate plans and programs applicable to retail banking
Develop and cultivate strategic relationships with business partners
Interact with a variety of people and build an environment based on diversity and teamwork
Responsible for hiring, coaching and developing an effective branch management team as well as assisting with selection of new employees for branch staffing
Create goals and objectives for branch managers and ensure success through motivating and mentoring
Demonstrate strong probing, problem solving and decision making skills to aid in effectively resolving complex employee issues
Proficient in all policies, procedures and bank regulations pertaining to branch operations
Demonstrate knowledge and enthusiasm about Woodforest bank products and services when talking to customers, potential customers and employees
Participate in community activities in order to foster and develop customer relationships
All other duties as assigned
Education
College graduate preferred
Experience
3 years management experience; retail banking or retail management preferred
Experience managing aggressive sales goals
Willingness to travel extensively
