Why The Princeton Review?
This is an oddly compelling place. We're informal (the dress code in offices is that there must be something on your feet), we find good ways to relax (from softball after work, to 20-minute office massages, to roof-deck parties), and we let people act on their good judgment. And we have offices all across the country! Further, we are improving education in small and big ways every day.
The Princeton Review has immediate openings in Northeast Ohio for SAT and ACT instructors. Our students are fantastic, the course materials are the best in the industry, your training is thorough, and we have a lot of fun!
How do I apply?
Step 1: Apply online
The application process starts online at PrincetonReview.com/employment. This is where you will get more information about the position and the hiring process, fill out an application, attach your resume, and take a qualifying screening exam.
If you don't already have a PrincetonReview.com username, click the "Apply" button and then the "Sign Up Now" button on the next page. The entire application will take 45 minutes to an hour. You can start now and come back later to take the screening exam.
All qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to age, race, creed, color, national origin, ancestry, marital status, or sexual orientation.
Step 2: The Audition
After submitting an application, qualified applicants will be invited to our Beachwood office for an audition. Auditions are 5 minutes long, and we ask that you teach us - the office staff and your fellow applicants - something non-academic in nature. What we are looking for here is personality and style. We want to know who you are beyond your resume and qualifying exam.
Step 3: Training
After the audition, you may be invited to an SAT training. This training is paid, and lasts 32 hours, spread over two weekends. (Dates below.) You are required to attend and pass the entire training session to become certified as a Princeton Review instructor.
Cleveland training dates: June 7, 8, 14 and 15 from 10am-6pm each day.
Step 4: Teach!
Once you are a Princeton Review instructor, you start teaching courses! We have summer-only courses, weekend-only courses, schedules that meet only once a week, schedules that meet 5 times each week... and the list goes on. We have locations all over Northeast Ohio, and you can teach at any other office across the country - even around the world!
