Munters Corporation, the global leader in state-of-the-art air treatment technology has an open position for a Regional Sales Manager for our North American Territory. 

 

Job Summary: Develop strategic sales and marketing objectives with current and future Customers. Establish sales markets, manages budgets and evaluates sales performance for our recently acquired direct and indirect heating business in the HumiCool – HVAC Division.

 

 

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

 

·         Selling of Portable, Movable and Stationary Heater Systems in the North American territory as well as other spot climate control equipment related to humidity  

·         Establish sales goals for field sales, evaluate performance, and take necessary steps to bring results in line with the financial goals of the business

·         Proposal preparation to customers

·         Travel to current and future customer locations to support field sales

·         Interface with internal as well as external manufacturer representatives

·         Develop and recommend to the North American Sales Manager for approval, policies and programs relating to product lines, distribution channels, pricing, sales objectives by product and geographical area, budgets, and new product development and improvement

·         Develop, recommend, and administer procedures affecting sales such as terms and discounts

·         Measured on orders and gross margins

·         Provide regular orders forecasts and keep management informed of significant sales developments affecting the company

·         Participate in the preparation of advertising and promotion programs and ensure programs are effectively launched in the field

 

Requirements:

 

Knowledge: 

·         Sales Experience in Direct and Indirect Heating or related field preferred

·         Sales Experience in Construction industry desirable

·         Familiarity with humidification and dehumidification systems an asset

·         Cost estimating capabilities an asset

·         Thorough understanding of channel to market opportunities

 

Skills: 

·         Proficient PC skills

·         Strong communication and interpersonal skills

·         Ability to manage complex market and customer situations

·         Accountability to results and self-motivation

 

Education/Experience:

·         Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering preferred

·         Minimum of 2 years experience in industry preferred
