ResponsibilitiesGeneral Statement of Duties: Develops and manages the marketing efforts for initiatives relating to product development in new verticals. This includes the development of programs designed to gain entry into the marketplace and the execution of sales and marketing programs designed to bring on new pilot clients. The New Vertical Marketing Manager will develop partnerships with Sales and Brand Marketing to drive prospecting, branding, and marketing activities.
Supervision received: Works in conjunction with the Sr. Director of Retail Marketing and Development

Develops positioning for new products
Develops the plans for launching the new product into the marketplace
Works with the Sales team to develop prospect prioritization, sales strategy and materials in order to obtain signed agreements
Provides presentation and demo support for Sales for prospecting opportunities
Manages the branding and marketing execution for the product concepts in conjunction with the Marketing Communications team.
Authors success stories based on pilots
Develops product sheets, sales materials, and training materials for Client Sales and Business Development in conjunction with Marketing Communications
Represents Alliance Data at industry and networking events Qualifications: Skills
Proven ability to develop and execute marketing plans for new product launches.
Experience with branding initiatives.
Proven ability to develop sales plans and communications.
Excellent written and verbal communication and persuasion skills.
Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Ability to effectively lead a cross functional team and/or direct professional colleagues who may be senior in tenure or status.
High resilience and constant initiative. Entrepreneurial spirit.
Minimum Qualifications
Education: BA/BS degree in business administration, marketing, market research or commensurate experience
Experience:
7-10 years of business experience managing marketing and sales efforts for new product or service launches or commensurate experience in building new business relationships. Three to five years of experience in financial services or advertising. BA/BS degree.
Desirable: Master of Business Administration (MBA) or other graduate degree. Retail experience.
