Adaptive Methods, www.adaptivemethods.com, headquartered in Virginia with offices in Maryland, Tennessee and Florida, is a developer of advanced sensor processing and computing architecture products for surveillance, security and military combat systems.  We are a privately-owned defense contractor, which, in partnership with the federal government, addresses critical U.S. Navy Anti-Submarine Warfare (ASW) needs.

 

RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO:

Network engineering design and configuration for the Littoral Combat Ship Mission Package Computing EnvironmentTravel to provide network engineering support services to Mission Package development labs, ship integration and test facilities, and the Littoral Combat ShipsDeliver Program level design reviews and status briefingsDocument network topologies, IP address plan, and switch configurationsSupport Littoral Combat Ship Integrated Program Meetings as required.

QUALIFICATIONS:

Bachelor Science Electrical Engineering or Bachelor Science Computer Science3 to 5 years experience in computer network design, configuration, and troubleshootingHands on experience with CISCO routers and switchesGood verbal and written communications skillsAbility to travel as required.

 

DESIRED SKILLS:

Java or C++ computer programming

 Travel will be required to various Adaptive Methods offices as well as client sites.
