About the Position:
We are searching for a Network Administrator to join our team of professionals. The Network Administrator will establish and administer the IS function for business operations, work with the Plant Manager and staff to facilitate the smooth operation and flow of data within the facility.

Duties and Responsibilities
-Install new software releases, system upgrades, evaluate and install patches and resolve software related problems.
-Performs, maintains, and tests system backups and recovery
-Maintains data files, file management and monitors system configuration to ensure data integrity.
-Actively work with management, staff, and associates within BAAN:
*Review screen enhancements
*Evaluate productivity gains and provide recommendations
-In conjunction with Rochester IS staff and/or contractors for installation, maintenance, and upgrades to:
*Local area and wide are networks (LAN and WAN)
*File, print, drawing servers, desktop computers, CAD workstation(s), and thin clients.
*Robotic welding network connections and assure procedures for robot program updates across the WAN.
*Wireless LAN(RF) units and RF data capture support
*Network e-mail
*NT user security setup and windows desktop management.
*Internet access and regulation
-Work with MSO and Plant manager
*Defining network processes
*Defining Machine utilization-Process enhancement within:Press room, Welding, Paint and Final Assembly
-Assist in definition and installation of the required information systems for the South Carolina business.
-Provide timely, efficient, and secure computer systems and services.
-Perform Is problem/resolution in a timely manner
-Perform process/system improvements continuously
-Continuously act as Liaison with Rochester Is group
-Familiar with standard concepts, practices, and procedures within the network administration field
-Performs variety of tasks required to ensure data flow and integrity within the Florence facility

Education
Bachelor degree in computer science. Training in information data systems and current hardware equipment required. MCSE desired.

Minimum of 5 years experience in information systems. Prior involvement in systems implementations, version upgrades, and data recovery required

Skills
Excellent verbal, written, and analytical skills required, along with demonstrated interpersonal and team orientation skills. Ability to interface with all levels of management and provide presentations.

This position is based in beautiful Florence, SC.
